Matt Tommy, you guys could do a rookie recap segment in the off season where you recap the highs a lows of that seasons rookie drivers and predictions for their racing future. It would also be cool to include their driving history before F1. I’d watch that. Thank you for the content, you guys are ace.

For me the exact position was right : Max, Perez, Hamilton, Leclerc, Ocon, Zhou. & Constructicons just Red Bull The rest of it is just off 1-2 or maybe way off 😂 This thing happen because - William suprisingly not dead last - McLaren somehow doing great - Aston Martin make big jump, i know gonna be at front but not like that
George finishing P8 when Mercedes managed P2 in the constructors is rightly disappointing, especially given how close the front of the non-Max field was. He seems to be cracking under the demand to be both fast and consistent.
I don't think it's as bad as it's being made out. Sure he made a couple of costly mistakes - but he was also unlucky with 3 DNF's due to car faults which didn't help. Without one or two of those DNF's he would have been right in the mix with Everyone up to Alsono. I think the fact the Merc managed P2 was more a testiment to how close it was this year (George still picked up 43% of Merc's total points).
Could you do a comparison between the championship standings and your average rating standings? Would be cool to discuss and show how drivers make difference to the their cars
Wast thinking about a "lowest points win" system, where you get fewer 'points' for better predictions (ie, For De Vries p22; Matt gets 3 points (p19) and Tommy gets 5 (p17)); was really rooting for you Tommy, but Matt still wins 45 to 50!!

If you want to see old races, which is fun, depending on the race, get F1TV. It has an archive of all F1 history. It gets me through the winter break 😊

Would be nice if the prediction winner out of you two would win something at the end of the year. Would be more engaging. Cheers!
Other than than the top 2 its really hard as there just wasn't a clear 2nd fastest team this season as it really did seam to change each race as some cars suited certain tracks more than others. Plus one lap vs full race performance was so different too. Ferrari for me probably would have had p2 in the bag but tyre wear from them was so bad this year.
I almost made a genius prediction, putting De Vries at 21st assuming that he’d get close to 0 points and thinking that Drugovich was gonna jump in for at least the first weekend for Stroll and bag some points. Obviously that didn’t happen, and yet De Vries somehow managed to end up even lower than I predicted

I like this video of you guys, that how wrong was ur prediction on Alex Albon. I saw ur 2023 predictions video before when u predict Alex p19 I was like how wrong you guys going to look after 2023 season. Coz I know he classic aggressive driver that many doesn’t see. Well, you can sweeten the deal by only counting the 3 last races... had Perez scored mostly P3's and P4's and he would be fine, that's the kind of performance Red Bull needs from him, not what he did at Monaco, Japan or Mexico.
@@soundscape26 they kept him because no one is willing to go next to max. The only driver that would be willing is Ricciardo but red bull know he probably will be about the same level as Perez
I feel like you guys really talked down to Mercedes, since Although it was third fastest car. It was the whole season third fastest. Where as AMR starting 2nd fastest, then the McLaren resurgance and falling away a bit and giving Ferrari a bit of air and then constantly McLaren and Ferrari changing 4th and 2nd fastest car.
I call this "Max's paradox"- when Perez drives RB then everyone says it's the best car and he should be P2 easily, but when Max drives RB then all of a sudden RB is the slowest car by 2 min and it's only Max's talent that puts him to P1. But on your skepticism about AM. To be fair AM finished 2022 as the 4th (???) fastest car behind RB, Ferrari, and Merc. They had a really good trajectory for their development. Just as no one predicted the rise McLaren would have, no one also predicted the drop AM would have. The fact that you didn't go with AM hype is surprising to me. And this gives me hope for McLaren to do really well next year.
To think that if Checo had a few more 2nds Red Bull would've had over 900 points in the constructors title, how do you even try to wrap your mind around that?
Matt saying go on Fernando for getting 4th when Aston finished last year. Bro this year, the car was lightyears ahead. What are you smoking, good sir ?
Kudos for the editing, who made Tommy’s 16 points look like Charles’ #16
I caught that too, and was surprised they didn't do Matt's score in those colors.
You should do this prediction for the constructors as well next year.
Max is a real talent. Broke both the Monza curse and the season opener one.
More tongues in his a55.
Max was so fast, that monza curse came in singapore

I'll be honest. After Bahrain I thought McLaren would be last in the constructors.
That's a thing since 2015, everytime expect for 2020,2021 and 2018 they started bad
I thought mclaren would come 7th 8th and norris would leave to red bull or Mercedes.
Same. They were literally dogshit
It will sound fake but in Bahrain etc with the bad start I said that McLaren will get a podium and I was right
I thought 4th or 5th.
I think the best way of scoring points would be 3 points if you're dead on, 2 points if you're 1 away and 1 points if you're 2 away.
I would suggest a 3 points when you're dead on (because that's hard) and keep the 1 point method as it is.
I think they could make it like golf. The lower score the better, you get 0 points for getting it dead on and 1 point for every position away you are.
Who actually cares it’s just a bit of fun
